1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect
- Technical data collected automatically when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and time of visit.
- Consent records: the choices you make in our cookie banner, stored so we do not have to ask you again.
- Contact data: anything you send us by email, kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
- Measurement data: if you consent, analytics and advertising cookies record how you arrived, which pages you viewed, and whether you clicked through to a provider.
We do not ask for or store payment details. Subscriptions are purchased on the provider's own site, under their privacy policy.
3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- To operate and secure the site — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To record your cookie choices — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
- To measure how the site and our advertising perform — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
- To answer your enquiry — legitimate interests, or performance of a contract where relevant.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We set strictly necessary cookies without consent because the site cannot function without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you agree. Full details, including named providers and retention periods, are in our cookie policy.
5. Affiliate links and third-party tracking
Links to VPN providers on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you are passed through a tracking service operated by our affiliate network, which records the click so that any resulting subscription can be attributed to us. That process may involve setting a cookie or passing an identifier in the URL.
Once you leave this site you are on the provider's own website, governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We have no control over what they collect. The affiliate network we use is Conversion Cowboys; the data it records when you click through is governed by its own privacy policy.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the service providers we need in order to run this site:
- Our hosting provider, which stores this website and keeps server access logs.
- Google, which serves the web fonts used on this site and, where you have consented, provides advertising measurement.
- Conversion Cowboys, the affiliate network that records click-throughs so that a resulting subscription can be attributed to us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for any purpose beyond those described here.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Some of these providers process data outside India and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where data relating to residents of the EEA or the UK is transferred, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it. 8. How long we keep it
- Server access logs — 30 days.
- Consent records — 6 months, after which we ask you again.
- Measurement data, where you have consented — 14 months.
- Email correspondence — 24 months from our last exchange with you.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these, write to hr@knnsyndicate.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority — in Germany this is your state data protection authority, in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde, in France the CNIL, and in Italy the Garante.
10. Children
This site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
11. Changes
We will update this policy when our processing changes, and will revise the version number and effective date above.
